While the cucumber and baking soda mixture will help give your Anthuriums a boost, there are a few more things you can do to make sure they thrive.
Anthuriums do best in bright, indirect light. You need to avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch their leaves.
About temperature, keep your Anthurium in a room that’s between 60-85°F (16-29°C). They don’t like cold drafts or sudden temperature changes.
Plus, use well-draining soil. Anthuriums prefer a mix that’s rich in organic matter and allows excess water to drain away quickly.
While the cucumber mixture will provide some nutrients, you can supplement this with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer once a month during the growing season (spring and summer).
